Scope of this web site - Objective of hosting this web site is to update visitors in general and students, alumni of Mechanical Engineering Department in particular the events concerning mechanical department of M.S.University and alma mater, besides extending academic information to visitors.
A page on "Computer Applications In Mechanical Engineering" - a final year two semester elective - provides information on development of computer culture in Mechanical Engineering Department, Syllabi of subject, Laboratory facilities, and students projects, participation in paper meet for students and related activities.
Page titled "Kalabhavan Nama" has archival kind of information stuffed. Intention of collecting information in this page is to write, hopefully, memoirs in post retirement life.
Page "Golden Years" reveals the story of gone by years that alumni of early decades of Faculty, 1950s, might vividly recall. This was in fact the period when Faculty excelled in wide variety of academic and students activities.
Participation - first of its kind in National level Industrial fair - of M S University at National Industrial Exhibition, VCCI'99 is also documented on separate page. Recently concluded Winter School - coordinated by G.D.Karhadkar and L.V.Kamble - in Advances in Manufacturing sponsored by AICTE is also documented on separate page.List of lectures of different speakers is provided with provision to download available soft copy of notes. Quite a few pages are under development and currently stores some old images from date of foundation of Kalabhavan way back in 1890.
A page on women students and faculty in mechanical engineering department has been added recently.This page is under development for obvious reason of scope for updates.
