Published in 1945, Prep Charlie includes photos of the pilots and flight crews of Air Group 81, and several photos of the Wasp and various aircraft, and miscellaneous crew, and several pages of history. I cannot afford to post most of the portrait pages here (about 110 pages, with 2 - 3 "portraits" per page, year-book style), so I am starting with all the other significant pages in order, excluding the contents page and such. In some cases I may combine parts of two pages, but will attempt to label them clearly. If you know someone in the 1943-45 crew and would like me to post or send the page with his photo, send a request to my e-mail address below, and I will search the portrait pages for his photo. No guarantees. This is the first page I'm posting, page 5. Pages 1 and 2 are blank.

Page 4 contains one line: Copyright 1945 by Lt. Cmdr. James C. Fergus. The top half of page 6 is blank, so I've cropped it to save space. Page 11 contains this: Dedication To the families that prepared the men of the Wasp and the Air Group for whatever tasks they might be called upon to do; that sailed and flew with them in spirit; and that courageously awaited word of the completion of their missions.
