My name is Daniel E. Serna. I'm 17 years old, and a senior at Project Phoenix. I attended my freshman, and sophomore year at Jefferson high school. The career choice I want to enter after college is hospitality-travel/tourism field. I live in San Antonio, TX. When I get older, I plan to move out of Texas to relocate to another city for my employment. I would not mind moving to Chicago . Currently I am taking two dual credit courses, which are Professional Office Development, and Safety and Sanitation.

During my junior year in high school, I took Intro to Hospitality. In the spring of my junior year, my class did an internship at the Holiday Inn Select Airport. I learned many things about the hospitality field that I didn't know. I also learned that I like the hospitality field more than I had thought. It was a good experience. Later in the year during March of 2000 until June 2000, I got a job at the Holiday Inn as the PBX operator of the Hotel.

My Future Goals

After high school, I plan to go to college at St. Philips College or any f the ACCD colleges for my first two years of college. When my two years are up, I hope to go to Johnson & Wales University. When I am finished with all the schooling I need I want to gain employment with commercial airlines as public relations, and work my way up to manager or may be even executive of public relations. After I reach my top pay, I plan on applying to be head of public relation for a major airport. I will relocate to anywhere I have to in the Unites States for this job. I feel that the hospitality travel/tourism will become one the most used services in the world in years to come. I want to work in the hospitality-travel/tourism public relations field.
