Groupware could provide services for communication, collaboration, and coordination. Purpose of Groupware With groupware, organizations are enabled to improve work flow because groupware could eliminate communication boundaries through computer meditation. Details of Groupware A complete groupware infrastructure has three dimensions: communication, collaboration, and coordination. Groupware has more flexibility than intranets when documents must be changed, updated or edited on the fly. Internal groupware-based networks are more secure than intranets. internet- based software. However, it is customized only for teamwork.
Teamware consists of intranet-based applications for building a work team,
sharing ideas and documents, brainstorming, tracking the status of tasks and
projects. Teamware is similar to groupware, but it does not offer the
powerful application development capabilities. However, teamware is an
easier implementation corroboration application to access a web browser.
