My friend David Ladd
just sent me this photo of his Corvette and all but dared me to put it on this site. He thinks it will somehow
upstage my car. Whatever! It really is a pretty neat car when it runs. One hardly even notices the leaks (or the 15lb. oil pressure at 5500 RPM). You see David,
we all know convertible Corvettes have more leaks than Dunkin has doughnuts. Corvettes are a novelty item for pretty boys,
or in David's case-pretty boy wannabees. No, guys David has a really nice Corvette and I don't think anybody should be mad
if they were to win one on a bet (that's another interesting story ....nevermind) Only 5442 of these Stingray Convertibles
were made in 1974 so David is pretty lucky to have found this matching-numbers beauty. Now David it's time to go to work if
it'll ever run with my Camaro.
