Cead mile failte. One thousand warm welcomes to the Craic. What is the Craic you might be wondering. Well, in Irish Gaelic..craic means fun. And that's what this site is all about. Fun,games, laughter and dancing.
The beauty of Ireland cannot be measured with words. Words are but just a form of interpretation of a sight so wonderful. Ireland has enthralled many a man and woman who has set foot upon its grounds. It has been said that there are two types of people. Those who are Irish and those who wish they were. My whole life, I have lived in a warm country filled with warm people. So if you're asking why I love Ireland so much: I don't know. I have never touched the grass of that wonderful place but in my mind I can see the wonder and beauty. So this site came about as the starting point of my journey to a land that I've never been. All these information here are what I have collected through the years. Since the dawn of time, the Emerald Isle has given birth to countless people who have helped weave history for this tiny island. From the young gallant Cuchullain, Deirdre and Queen Maeve, to the present day poets; Joyce, Wilde, Yeats and Bryan Merryman to the present day U2 and the Corrs. Not to forget, the Black Stuff (Guinness) that when you see the label, it makes you think of St. James Gate in Dublin.
So without any further ado, let's take a stroll through this site shall we? And at times like these, I'd listen to Mary Black's "Song for Ireland".
