Destiny marks our footsteps in the electronic halls of the Internet.

It brings you here, oh wise browser, to the personal pages of Gwilym Games Esq., a humble student of the Sublime arts of Librarianship. He was at the College by the Sea in Aberystwyth. But now his strange destiny takes him elsewhere.

It is on this page he gathers many curiosities discovered in his aimless wanderings in the virtual world and his own musings on the nature of reality. 
  

By hook or by crook, Gwilym became the Aberystwyth national student representative for The Library Association Career Development Group. (You don't remember voting? That is because no one stood against me. Isn't it strange how democracy works, sometimes apathy can be a wonderful thing !!) Thus I have created a selection of web resources here to support my position of responsibility. 

 S. R. Ranganathan, a man of enormous talent and ability, whom all librarians would be wise to study. Thus I created a personal tribute page to this giant amongst librarians.

Tales of Bizarre Aberystwyth : One Gwilym's adventures in a world of tea-parties and burning Parliaments. Plus some of his previous discoveries in fair city of Swansea, which may be "the graveyard of ambition", but is also the Ambition of a Graveyard.

Late last year a report was submitted to the Library and Information Science Dept. here at Aberystwyth concerning the National Museum of Curiosities. Some may find these excerpts enlightening. Also including an essay on the nature of that most entertaining of literary forms the homepage.

The huge electronic resources of the Internet spread across continents, oceans and thousand of leagues, unleashing a never ending swarm of information on the unsuspecting world. What kind of information is best suited to being spread by this wondrous new global network? Why vast quantities of poor quality verse obviously. Thousands of self proclaimed poets could not all be wrong. Or can they ?? Only you can decide by perusing the Works of Library Bard of Llanbadarn Fawr.
