Looking through the internet I found patterns by</B><I><B> </B></I><FONT SIZE="4" COLOR="#993366" FACE="Andy" ><B>Jean Greenhowe</B></FONT><I><B> </B></I><B>to make dolls using scraps of yarn. I have been making them ever since. Over the years I have accumulated all the pattern books from this Scottish lady. Family and friends knew of my love to knit and have added to my collection of patterns. </B><I><B> </B></I></div> <bR> <div> <B>I have also found Walt Disney patterns for the Winnie the Pooh gang and have added them to my projects. I have made over 140 items in the last three years. They have been given to friends and family for those special occasions. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>In early 2003, I was introduced to Swedish Weaving. This is done on cotton Monk's Cloth and weaved into beautiful afghans.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Before doing these toys and afghans, I knitted afghans, sweaters and many other projects for my family. For three consecutive years I knitted mittens for the Ottawa Snowsuit fund. These mittens were given away with snowsuits to needy children. My goal was to complete 300 pairs of mitten yearly and I am happy to say that I did manage to meet this goal two years in a row.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Do you have uncompleted projects in your closet?</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Do you need a special gift for that special child or young at heart?</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>I would gladly complete that project for you, knit a special doll or make that perfect afghan for you.
