Welcome!
We are the former MCI/Worldcom staff, admins, managers, technicians, engineers and other computer and IT professionals that made the network, work. In March 2001 about 6500 of us across the USA were laid off from MCI/WCOM in a corporate downsizing/realignment.
Many of us have upwards of 10 years of experience in the fast moving ever-changing world called telecommunications. We are a talented, creative and innovative bunch of people actively seeking new and challenging careers in the telecom field. We are the generation that made this possible with our hard work, long hours and dedication. Other than non-disclosure agreements about our former jobs, we are ready to add value and experience to your company.
We would like to thank the recently displaced employees at Nortel who started this initiative at Hire Top Talent for encouraging us to start this site. We would also like to thank you the recruiter, for taking the time to stop by.

UPDATE April 19 2001 ACTEL Integrated Communications, Mobile Alabama. Actel last week decided to cease operations I have several ex MCI friends there who want me to post their resumes here. If I have more than a couple I will start a page for them, if they do not start a page of their own. If they do I will add a link. I have mailed the Former webmaster of ACTEL and made a few suggestions.

to WCOM vendors:
A few of us
have recently had an interesting experience. Vendors who provide
equipment to WCOM would not talk to former employees because of
existing non-solicitation agreements. (Calling some one at the office
to lure them away from WCOM.) We have been assured by WCOM HR
department that this does not apply to the recently displaced
workers. We are available and ready to work. A contact name at WCOM
HR can be provided if required. Contact the webmaster
