Let's start with some standard interests :
  • Dance (when the music 's worth it! see below)
  • Movies (as long as it doesn't contain too much sentimental bull)
  • Hip-Hop (not the flat MTV stuff, but things like Delinquent Habits, Guru's Jazzmatazz)
  • Indie (decent Britpop, but also punkrock like Bad Religion or originals like Pixies)
  • Reggae (jahman, Marley like everyone else, but also P.Tosh, Big Youth, Dill Bros. or the amazing Lee 'Scratch' Perry)
  • Rock and Pop
  • Pubs and Clubs (I'm crazy about Palm but I can enjoy many other kinds...)
  • Socialising (friends have laughs about that term...;-)
  • Soccer

Like every normal guy I'm devoted to football. I play it myself (as good 'n' as bad as it works out;-)
Passive, I'm a fan of SK Lierse (Belgium) which have to be champion again this season, FC Barcelona (Spain) and Manchester Utd. (England).

If I leave the house, you can find me in Den Afgrond in Heist o/d Berg.
Sometimes when really in the mood for a dance, I go to places like Club Zazou in Lier or Den Aalmoezenier in Antwerpen.

Across the borders I visit Barcelona in Spain regularly. Sometimes even think about living there: the sun doesn't fade away like here in rainy Belgium. And I found some awesome people over there.

How I look ? 1.85 m tall, weight +/- 82 kg, blonde hair, blue/green eyes. I´ll upload a pic some day...
The music obsession...
So I'm crazy about music. I like all kinds (as long as you can catalogue it as Just Good Music, probably I'll like it)
Although I prefer rock bands like Pixies, Sonic Youth, Afghan Whigs, Posies, Fountains Of Wayne, Pavement, Monster Magnet.
But original artists like Beck, Propellerheads, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Zion Train, Dreadzone, Massive Attack or Hooverphonic are great to me too.
And I didn't forget about the past: Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, the Who, the Doors, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Big Star, Jane's Addiction, Pierre Henry etc. are still my biggest favourites.

In summer you can find me at the better festivals: I try to visit Pinkpop (NL), Rock Herk, Rock Werchter, Dour, Zwemdokrock, Axion Beach, Marktrock, Pukkelpop, Hove Live etc.
I just love to hang out there with some friends, going crazy, having a beer, smoking a J (for the yanks havin' a D-d ;-), fooling with others...
