In 1969, the world called for an new era of GI Joe! The thought of another "GI" Soldier heading abroad, overseas, failed to receive public support. Therefore, with this in mind, a whole new outlook on GI Joe Action Figure was needed. In the spring of 1970, that new era was created; it came to be known as: The Adventure Team.
