I was born April 1st, 1976, an April Fool in America's Bicentennial. I grew up in Portland with my younger brother, Troy. My parents split when I was very young and I've always enjoyed having two families. In 7th grade I moved to Tacoma with my dad, and decided to stay when he moved back tp Portland in '94, when I graduated from Clover Park HS. Since graduating I've gone to some community college and the Art Institute of Seattle. I've moved around the area, living in University Place, Oakbrook, Lakewood, Des Moines, SeaTac and Steilacoom. |
No laughing at my driver's license picture, OK? Here's my stats. I'm a 22 year white male. I'm about 6'0" and 170lbs. Blond hair, blue eyes, medium complection with a few freckles across my nose. I go for baggy jeans and sweatshirts, or shorts and tees. Always wearin Nikes 'cause like to support the local (Portland) company. I know I'm not smiling in the pic, but I do smile a lot. **Hey, what do ya know, I lost my old license and had to get a new one! Here's version 2.0 of the original. The guy didn't warn me that he was gonna take it, so AGAIN I'm not smiling. Geez, do they train these guys to do that?! Also, here's a pic of me on my way out of Las Vegas earlier this year. I've been there about 8-9 times, and twice since I turned 21. I still haven't won the Viper GTS, though. |
Yeah, I'm a boy at heart, always will be, and this boy likes his toys. I speed around in Little Silver, my 97 Civic hatchback. The system rocks and the car goes, it works for me. Also, if the Honda isn't fast enough, I can hop on my Suzuki and blast around 140MPH for awhile. I like to go fast, and both of these will do it. Hope you can hold on! |
Wow, this is a biggie. Well, I have many. I'm into my cars. I worked for many years at an import performance shop, so I have a lot of friends that are into them as well. I personally am a VW fan, but I bent to the peer pressure and bought a Honda anyway. I like to work on cars still, even though I'm officially out of the performance business. I still do a lot of side jobs (tinting, alarms, lowering) to make some extra money. I also run a club called Import Addiction that includes about 25 guys that are also into Hondas & Acuras. Follow the link to the Import Addiction homepage if you're interested. |
I'm a little into art, as well. I've been drawing since I was about 2, and still find time to do it once in a while. I took Industrial Design at the Art Institute of Seattle, and have taken various art-related classes through community colleges since I graduated high school. I enjoy almost anything that has to do with graphic arts, industrial design, conceptual design, etc... I love arts & crafts kinda stuff, I guess I consider myself a "handyman", I can do anything, I just have to figure out how. Here's a picture of my first motorcycle. I fooled everyone into thinking I had an expensive paint job done at a real shop, in reality it was a weekend and about 20 cans of Krylon. I also enjoy writing and reading, I just don't have much time to do either anymore! My favorite books are the Stephen King-type books, I'll zap through one in a day if I have nothing to do. (rare!) Go figure, I like the same type of movies, too. |
Kinda similiar to art is music. I will take the time to learn an instrument someday, but until then I'll have to settle for listening to it. My fav group is responsible for the ringing in my ears 2 days after the concert! The B-Boys visited Key Arena on July 31st to kick off the Hello Nasty tour, and I spent the ENTIRE time in the pit directly in front of a set of speakers. I'm pretty sure I have permanent hearing damage, the ringing should have gone away by now, right? Anyways, if I'm having this hard of a time trying to figure out if it was worth it, it must be alright. They played about 6 songs from the new CD and mixed it up with a couple of songs from the older releases... not enough from License To Ill, if you ask me. Anyways... I listen to many types of music, but everyday jamming comes from 107.7 The End. This banner hangs in my bedroom, courtesy of EndFest 1995. Funny, I still run into people that saw me snatch it at the concert. :) Other favs include NIN, REM, Presidents, Pearl Jam, Prodigy and Stabbing Westward. I also like 80's music, oldies, a little rap (very little) and techno. I'm very ANTI-KUBE. I guess I just don't understand how people can listen to the same 20 songs played back to back every day. I dunno... |
Well, some of the things I like to do... One of the big things I look forward to every year is whitewater rafting on the Deschutes River in Oregon. You can easily tell that this isn't us because everyone has managed to stay inside of the raft. I'll have our pics up soon... The trip is coming up August 12th through 16th. A few friends and myself take some gear and some beer down to central Oregon and camp for a week on the river. We raft some pretty crazy stuff, but haven't had any permanent, lasting injuries yet. At least nothing that hasn't healed in time for next years run! This year it looks like three rafts, 15 people, a motorhome and about 10 BIG coolers. Watch out river! What else do I do? I like to take the mountain bike up to Tiger Mountain and ride the backtrails. It's best when its a little muddy! Rollerblading is cool, but I'm not a wiz, I can play around a little without falling, but not hardcore. Ummm, I love beach volleyball when I have the opportunity, but that's seldom. |
Well, I have a fresh job at a Tacoma-based company called NetWerx. I travel around the country weeks at a time installing LAN-based POS networks. OK, I go to McDonalds at night and run wires while I munch on stale apple pies. Not the most glamorous job, but it gets me around and pays. Maybe I'll see YOU while I'm in your town... unless you live in one of those crappy little hick-towns like Havre, Montana that has no local dial-up number and no one can get on the internet anyway! MOVE TO A REAL CITY! Sorry. |
I don't know what to put here, because I can't tell the future. Kids and a family, cozy home somewhere on the west coast, lots of toys for me, general happiness and world peace. So long, e-mail me of you're bored. Oh yeah, here's a picture of where I live right now. I'm moving into another house with some friends this month though... so double the amount of lowered cars parked out front. :) |
Nice talkin to ya... e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll e-mail you back. Adios! |
