Meet Evunia !!!
About me:
I was born in Poland, 37 years ago, I used to live in Athens, GA, USA, for years and loved it. Hovever, last December, I moved to Cleveland, OH, where I live now. (and pretty much hate it).  I used to live in London in the mid eighties when I was still in college. I realy liked it and I would like to go there again sometime. I never thought I could live somewhere outside Poland, but once I tried it I decided I can just as well be happy living away from the old country. I am married and I have two daughters, Agata and Asia, they are 11and 13. When I live in Poland I work as a teacher of English in a private college, here in the States I haven't found my place yet, I mean professionally. I graduated, with a Master in Linguistics, from the Jagiellonian University which is one of the oldest universities in Europe, founded by the Polish Queen in 1364. This fall I started graduate school and I am enjoying it a lot. It feels really good to have somehting to do again.
My kind of place:
I like southern warm places and GA was great. Athens was my home for almost 7 years. It is a small university town, with the oldest state university in the country. The place is beautiful especially in spring and in fall. In spring the town fills with flowers. It starts in February with magnolias and then dogwood trees and azaleas in April. The whole place smells like a flower garden then. In fall it fires up with autumn leaves. It is a good place for people who like sports. There are many tennis courts there and a large sports complex that belongs to the University of Georgia. The people are friendly and living in Athens can be a lot of fun. We had a small Polish community there and we spent a lot of time together. I am not so good at making friends in new places so Ohio still feel very lonely. I miss Georgia.
My interests:
My favourite past time is playing tennis. I used to play on a team in Athens. I like good movies, music, taking pictures and chatting. In summer I like to travel and camp. The south west is my favorite part of the coutnry. I just love the desert. I have two Australian Shepherd dogs, they are just great. Last year as I was walking them, I found a tarantula in the street. I kept her and named her Elizabeth; she is a very good spider. For my last birthday I got a snake, Albert, from my husband and my kids. He is a Florida blue garter snake.
