We sail on the North Coast Of New South Wales,At a place called Yamba .Our sailing is mainly done on the Clarence River,which is the largest river on the east coast of Australia.We hope to keep you informed of all upcoming events at The Port Of Yamba Yacht Club through this site. We have just completed our Easter Regatta with an ocean race from Coffs Harbour to Yamba and the Yamba Shores Tavern to The Harwood Hilton Race which had about 20 starters

WE HAVE THE THREE PEAKS RACE IN JUNE
|
|
The race starts off with the runners going to the top of the Maclean look out and back to the yachts,then they are transported to the boats for the sail to lawrence and then another run for several kilometres then back onto the yachts for a sail back to Illarwill,where they run to the top of Clarence Peak and back to the yachts for the final sailing leg to Maclean,a very testing day for all competiters

Our club has grown very quickly in recent years with about fifty yachts and well over one hundred members and we have a great social scene after the sailing is over,we have Boats from 45 feet down to 16 feet in the club with a vast array in between,which makes for very interesting sailing!We hope to improve this site in the near future
