The Maize Baseball program started in 1989. The coaching staff for the Maize program since 1989 are as followed; Steve Wilber, Eric Wolgast, Larry Harvatin, and the most recent Rocky Helm. Through the 1999 season the team has a record of 148-89. The team has been to state and placed in '93 and in 1996. Throughout the 99 season there were many team records that were shattered due to a tremendous inagural season stared by coach Helm.
