in creation of new position.
Responsibilities included coordinating and customizing all installations
for local client environment from parent company Morgan Stanley Dean Witter,
facilitating meetings between Process Area heads and vendors of new applications
and acted as IT representation at said meetings, packaged all 3rd
party and in-house built applications for distribution using Wise Installer,
deployed applications using MAS built tools, WinBatch and SMS 1.2, created VBA
enhanced technical documentation templates, transitioned all support for
deployed applications to help desk specialists, managed all client side
Changes, built NT 4.0 Servers and facilitated all vendor applications installed
thereon, aided in designing an application information and licensing database.

Initially
joined the Change Management Team as an Install Developer. The function of this placement was to
develop installations of in-house and off-the-shelf applications using WinBatch
and WinInstall. This process
included the evaluation of the files and registry entries created by the
installation routine to prevent client-side conflicts. Eventually progressed to Technical Team
Lead.
Moved to
the position of Gatekeeper.
Responsibilities were to serve as the final review and approval for all
installation and client-side changes to the environment. Also maintained and troubleshot the
configuration management tools.
Attended Project Management Methodology Seminar. This training built upon experience as
Technical Team Lead.
Performed as general
infrastructure backfill. This included
everything from recovering lost files from systems, to troubleshooting Network
Browsing issues and providing a documented solution. Contract here was indefinitely continued, but had already been
committed to next assignment.

Networking Intern
Handled all external connectivity for Wawa?s headquarters. This included troubleshooting, fixing and documenting all of the dial-up lines. Implemented USR/3COM TotalControl communications chassis to augment existing external communications framework. Also responsible for all Frame Relay maintenance, troubleshooting and baselining of relevant statistics. This served to strengthen my Networking and Server knowledge.
