The Story...

There's a huge debate going on in the UK at the moment, concerning the lisence fee for the television. At the moment the lisence is priced at just under £100, but According to news reports thats due to change to over £100 in the near future, if the goverment gets its way.

This change is due to a plea from the BBC director general, Greg Dyke, pleading poverty to the goverment, stating that he needs a further £200,000,000 to fund the BBC's digital service. At first, they wanted to add £12 a year on to digital subscriber TV lisences, until it was dicovered that TV detector vans can't detect digital signals.

So, now they've decided to punish us all again by upping the license for everyone. Of course there's no way the goverment are going to have a referendum on the license issue, so I've decided to have one of my own based on the internet. All you have to do is make your choice to the right, and the current results will be displayed for you to view.
