Teletrends is a wholly owned company of Kenneth J. Stamp. Ken began his career in the telecommunications field in 1956 as a terminal equipment technician for the Canadian Army. Ken was the maintenance technician for the United Nations and Danish Red. In 1965 Ken received his discharge from the Canadian Army and went to work for Edmonton Telephone as a PABX installation and maintenance technician. In 1967 Ken went to The Nothern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAT) as a PABX instructor. In 1981 Ken was offered a position with ROLM Canada, a supplier of digital PABX (CBX) equipment. In 1983 ROLM Canada was purchased by IBM Canada. Ken became manager of training with the new company until 1992 when ROLM Canada division of IBM was purchased by NORSTAN CANADA, a telephone equipment provider with head office in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Ken was Head Instructor for all Norstan training programs throughtout continental United States and Canada. In 1999 Ken retired from active service with Norstan Canada and started Teletrends to provide on-site training of the ROLM product line. Courses include: | |||||||||||||||||||
