Primary duty is to initiate the underwriting process and assist the Underwriter in all aspects of exposure evaluation, pricing development, program construction, quote presentation, file documentation, and servicing of Risk Management Group commercial accounts.
 Reviews new and renewal Broker submissions and interacts with broker on all aspects of the Underwriting process.
 -Initiates hazard analysis and exposure classification per coverage specifications. Issues preliminary service requests to the Account Manager, or to Claims, Loss Control, and other service departments as appropriate.
 Assists in financial review procedure. Initiates the security review for Renewal business. Reviews both security and escrow calculations and follows up on adjustments.
 Prepares rating instructions and coordinates rating with AIG service center. Inputs initial loss rating and pricing data into Deal Management System. Assembles information for reinsurance submissions.
 Duties include documentation of treaty or facultative Reinsurance arrangements. Notifies the reinsurer of the bound coverage and informs the reinsurer of coverage or exposure base changes should they develop.
