What We Do
The Black Acre Farm, Inc. Equine Referral Service directed by Susan Todd provides owners of horses and ponies with an available list of people who have already expressed an active interest in purchasing a horse or pony of their own. At the same time, horse lovers hoping to buy the horse of their dreams will be provided with a list of available horses by breed, price, and any other available information.
How We Work
Short of letting you actually ride the animals, it's hard to convey
the appeal of our steeds - let alone the joy of their presence and the
bond which develops between horse and rider. The Equine Referral Service
features a listing of a variety of horses and ponies which are for sale
by a host of different owners. Prospective buyers are also compiled by
the Equine Referral Service which then attempts to broker a connection
between the right horse for the right owner! A new feature being offered
by the Equine Referral Service is this home page which includes a photograph
and a brief biography of some of the horses listed with us.
Who
We Are
A success since 1987, Black Acre Farm is the product of a lifelong
horse lover, Susan Todd. Black Acre Farm has been a combination of the
two things Susan loves most, horses and teaching. Black Acre Farm is licensed
by the Maryland Department of Agriculture. Black Acre Farm has provided
riding lessons and summer camps but is now concentrating on pony rides
and the Equine Referral Service. The Equine Referral Service can be reached
