A figure walks through the open door. It is shrouded in a long black, fur lined travel cloak. The figure walks to the bar and grabs a glass of blood wine. It's hand emergizes from the sleeve of the cloak, soft, pale skin, long finger nails, painted metalic maroon. On each finger is a silver ring, each awsome in detail. As the figure starts to drink, it removes it's hood. A woman apears from beneath it. Her long reddish, black hair, is held up on the back of her head by a single red silk ribbon. Her gray/silver eyes scan the room. She takes another sip of her drink, reveiling her white fangs slightly. She stands and removes the cloak competly, tossing it in to her seat. She wears a silk shirt, showing a lot of clevage, in the plunging neck line. Over the shirt is a black leather bodice held tight with red ribbon. A long black skirt covers her legs, exept for a jagged slit that runs up to her hip reveling on leg. A pair of knee high, lace up, leather boots are on her feet and a bag is hung on her shoulder. As she walks toward the middle of the room the slit opens wider, revieling a jew handled dagger, strapped to her thigh. Midnight is me in a way...a charater, never-the-less. I mainly developed this page to post some of my poetry and to get my work seen. My name is Casey and I m 15 years old. I ve to write, as a matter of fact, I cant remember a single time in my life where I didnt love to write, wethther it be my name in the sand or long stories.I spend a lot of my time outside, sailing ir rockclimbing mostly. I spend a lot of time with my friend James, who is a large part of my life. I also spend a lot of time with my mom, shopping, and just finding this to keep us amused. I hang out with my friends a lot. I feel I am close with all my friends, but I feel a close bond with only a handful of them. Ashley and Amber are names that come to mind. They are both sweet and funny, and they have the potential to drive me insane. Jerry and Mikek are the comic releif and can always make me laugh even on the worst of days. Andy, well what can I say about Andy? He is my closest guy friend (with the exeption of James) and he feels like a big brother to me, I am thankful for that. Well now that you know a bit about me and my friends you are ready to step into my poetry. While reading, sit back, relax, and dont read it if you dont want to. Most of my poetry is wrote when I am having a hard time dealing with something, may it be school or what have you. Each of them has a story behind them and wether it is a life story of mine, or of a friend, sometimes I cant even be sure. When I write I let myself go. I once started writting and woke up 3 hours later with 6 poems I dont remember writting. I beleive everyone writes the best when they dont think about it. I cant write to meet deadlines, or when there is too many people around, or even when there is no noise at all. I always have music playing. At this point, Mettalic?s Black Album, Savage Garden?s Affrimation, and Sublime?s self titiled never leave my cd player. Midnight, (the womans intro in the begin of the site) is a large part of my writing. Her life is the insperation of my poems most of the time. | |||||||||||||||||||
