|
GPS Debating is of course well under way for the 1999 season, with the Senior C team (Yr 11 A) recfording 3 wins and a drasw out of 4 debates. There are 3 more to go, and the next topic that will be argued is: THAT ECONOMIC RATIONALISM IS NOT OUT OF DATE 1st Mimi, 2nd Jordan, 3rd Shannon | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| MOOTING ROOM | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Bond Mooting Competetion is heating up, and the BSHS team is well under way in preparing arguments for both Grounds of Appeal and Cross-Appeal. | The case of ASPROF v CHIPP revolves around the topical issue of BBS (Electronic Bulletin Board Services - on the Net) and whether the manager of a BBS is liable for defamatory material published on it. Is he/she an innocent disseminator who is therefore available for the innocent dissemination defence? These questions and many, MANY more will be answered when the Preliminary Moots begin in May.
