Hello my name is Ronald L. Simon and this is my web page.
First, a little about myself, I am from the Midwest, specifically Indianapolis, Indiana. I am a twenty-year old, 1998 Pike High School graduate. After graduating from Pike in June of '98 I enlisted into the U.S. Army Reserves, where I completed basic training and advanced individual training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
After being released from training in November of '98, I enrolled for the spring semester at Saint Augustine's College (HBCU), located in Raleigh, N.C. There I completed my first semester in May of '99, majoring in Computer Information Systems.
I am currently enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh, located in Pittsburgh, P.A. Here, I attend the School of Engineering, as a transfer student, majoring in Computer Engineering, minoring in Spanish and a concentration in Computer Science.
A little about my personality; I am a laid back person just enjoying the breeze of life. I am very determined at what ever I do. I am the type of person that just won't give up and doesn't know the meaning of quit. I believe myself to be an enjoyable person to be around. I like to make people smile. I am a good speaker but a better listener. I like simple things, just relaxing watching a movie, going to the park, or just to taking walks. As you can see I am pretty good with computers and I am very eager to learn all I can and more. I am the type of person who wants to know about every thing, I am interested in a lot of areas.
I like to read, and I love to write poetry. My favorite writers are Maya Angelou and Nikki Giovanni. I love listening to music, (even though I can't dance all that great). I love Jazz and R&B the most; I also love to listen to Reggae, Rap and Latin American music. I try to stay open to all types of music. I like some country songs, GO-GO and even some swing dance songs.
I am also into sports, I ran track and wrestled in high school, although I haven't went to the college level yet. In high school I ran the 110 high hurdles, 300 low hurdles and sometimes the 4X4 Relay or the 800m.
Well enough about me, enjoy using my web page and make sure you give your shout out in my Guest Book, but please no foul language and derogatory comments.
