Objective:
Seeking a challenging career in the area of Mechanical
Engineering/Materials Science/Software Engineering in a dynamic and growing
company.
Summary of my Background:
• Double Master of Science from prestigious
engineering school in US
• Extensive experience in computer-aid designs
(CAD 2D&3D )
• Experience on product design (concept
design, assembly layouts and component details)
• Specialized in computer structural/stress
analysis (FEA)
• Extensive experience in mechanism analysis
and optimization
• High computer proficiency: MS-Windows
and UNIX; AutoCAD, Matlab, C++ and Visual C++,
Ideas and LS-DYNA3D, ProE/ProMECHANICA;
HTML, Javascript and Java.
Experience:
Graduate Research Assistant,
Mechanical Engineering Department, West
Virginia University
Morgantown, West Virginia. (July 96 to May. 98)
Performed research and experiments on High-temperature
alloys, FEA structural/stress analysis and on optical moiré stress/structural
analysis and digital image process and mechanics. Projects involved::
-
Specialized in FEA structural/stress analysis; Developed
non-linear finite element analysis program;
-
Fracture model construction and analysis under hydrogen environment
on Fe3Al alloy using Finite element method (ABACUS);
-
Car impact simulation and analysis using IDEAS and LS-DYNA3D.
Produced C/C++ code to incorporate collision detection and contact force
determination.
-
Undertook fracture mechanism research on FeAl high-temperature
alloys and Environmental stress and strain analysis on high-temperature
alloys using Moiré method (DOE project);
-
Finished a software package processing experimental
digital images using C++ Object Design;
-
Experience on product design (concept design, assembly layouts
and component details); especially in High vacuum chamber designing, constructing,
high vacuum environmental control and test;
-
High computer proficiency: MS-Windows and UNIX; AutoCAD,
C++ and Visual C++, Matlab, Ideas, LS-DYDA3D and ProE.
Design Engineer, Institute
of Metal research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China (July 94
to June 96)
-
Conceptualised and designed physical deep-water vacuum systems.
Blueprinted various assemblies and components. Lead engineering team for
productivity analysis and new product development;
-
Finite Element Analysis, Computational Methods in FEA, hp
adaptive Finite Elements, Advanced theory of Finite Elements, Grid Generation
and Adaptive Grids
-
Using FORTRAN program perform structural and stress analysis
to justify the capacities of metal parts;
Graduate Research Assistant,
Institute of Metal research, Chinese academy of sciences
Beijing, China (July 92 to June 94)
Responsibilities included research the materials properties
with finite element methodology, implementation and analysis.
-
A 2-scale Finite Element Model for the Hydrogen-induced crack
of NiAl High-temperature alloy
-
A 2-D finite element code was developed to compute the thermal
stresses in a nuclear fuel rod. The stress analysis problem and the thermal
problem were solved on the same grid.
-
Developed a complete 3-D finite element analysis model in
simulating metal-phase transfer.
