IntroductionThe purpose of this project is to offer students a break from everyday classroom activity and an opportunity to accept responsibility in directing their own education. Through this self guided webquest, students will research William Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the recently reconstructed and reopened Globe Theatre. A look into the related links will help guide students toward information about the Globe's past and present history.
The Process
![]()
There are two aspects of this process, each explained below and in the order they should be completed.
Task 1: Research and complete the questions in the following section on
William Shakespeare and the Globe Theatre. Use the related links to
find the correct answers.Task 2: Considering the information you have accessed before you attempt
to tackle this next task, you should be very familiar with who Sam
Wanamaker is. Your goal is to construct a virtual timeline from the
beginning of Sam Wanamaker's efforts to the completion and
reopening of the Globe Theatre. Use all media available (i.e.
Hyperstudio, Powerpoint, etc.).
