Well, I just added a small section for me to let everything out: The Angry Pineapple. If one fruit should get angry, it would be the pineapple for sure... Anyways, just a section for me to push my rants a little further than what I'm doing now on the main page (I let myself go a little more). It's more like a stress reliever than anything else...

Hi y'all! I felt kinda lazy tonight, so I decided to add a new section to the site, this is a (*partial*) comic strip I had to do during my high school years (in secondary 5, equivalent to grade 11 elsewhere) as a "creation" project. It's in French, so you might want to bone up on that first... The story isn't great either, as my art teacher wanted me to put some elements I didn't want in the strip, but now I'm free!!!
Man, this main page is shit ass ugly, I'm going to think of a way to put a bit more "oomf" in it, but not tonight, I'm back from my swimming practice, and I'm fairly tired... Hopefully, there will be more surprises in the near (or distant) future! Till next time, TTFN...

Well, it's 11 o'clock, and yet another comic (#4) done! I guess it takes about 2-3 hours to make a strip, but I keep on getting faster at it.
Speaking of fast, I got my MP3 player I won on eBay last Friday... That's really fast! It's a 1st generation player, but the price is good for what I needed... Finally I can run for the bus in the morning without a skippin' CD player. The only problem is that the player only recognizes MP3 files that have been burnt on CD in the first session, so I need to stock up some tunes on my hard drive first (with 10 gigs, that's not much... ^_^). So Mat, if you're reading this... send me you MP3 listing, it's pretty cool... you know where to find me.
Nothing much this weekend, kept it really quiet, had to go to the lab (#$&!@#$)... Got a major headache on Saturday morning, but when you're @ TH on Karaoke night, it's bound to happen ^ ^.
I finished watching Trigun (Love & Peace!, hahaha (just laughing to myself here)), which is a very good series... I recommend it. Now, I started looking at Love Hina, which apparently was a very popular series in Japan and abroad. Looks like a cute adolescent love story, first looks simple, but the Japanese have a way of making very attaching characters...

Happy April Fools!... Anyways, nobody pulled any pranks on me today, except for my computer, darnit! It took forever to convert Strip #3 from an Illustrator file to a JPEG, making a 40 meg BMP file in the process. Illustrator and Photoshop didn't want to get along today it seems. The reason I had so much trouble was because I wanted to keep a good quality artwork... (although, that's in the eye of the beholder ;). On top of that all, my pen is starting to die... better get a new one soon.
Besides that, nothing much. Ate too much on the weekend, but I won an MP3 player off eBay for half price... wohooo! I'm probably going to visit that site more often now. Speaking of the web, I'm darn tired of waiting for Keenspace.com to give me my own web comic web space!!! It's been like over 2 months since I applied! I know they told me it would take some time, but this seems unusual... For now I'm stuck uploading my stuff on this crappy web hosting site (i.e. Fortunecity)... uhhhh.... sorry I said that. Please mister fortunecity webman, don't delete my webspace, I was just kidding, heheheheheh.... uhhhh.. *sigh*!!!
Anyways, check out the comic if you want. Wait... no one knows about this site yet... better advertise. Oh yeah, that's another thing Keenspace does, but that won't happen anywhere soon, now will it? Darnit...

Whew! Already another strip out! Probably because I have some extra time, since it's Easter holiday and all... I took a good deal of time understanding Photoshop, which isn't always so intuitive. But as I can see with the final product, my scanning and especially Photoshop talents have improved a bit ^_^.

I guess I'm going to watch "Cowboy Bebop The Movie: Knocking on Heaven's Door", which takes like 600 megs on my hard drive, me and my puny 10 gigs... Listening to Nightwish at the same time I'm typing this... ooooo... AMAZING music, just what the doctor ordered. Well, I'm off to listening Japanese movies then...

...So, I haven't touched my webpage in quite a while, but I plan on putting anything that I find interesting here... maybe even take some time to vent if I feel like it.
Boy, so many things happened in the past months, I don't know where to start. One thing is for sure, I'm living some sort of personal "mini-revolution" that I find great. As for work, well, it's work. Same old, same old, nothing special, nothing great... just the same routine over and over again *sigh*. BUT, I want to take some time to start a little comic I always wanted to do. I hope it will go ok, and that the story will develop without looking too ridiculous, or too cliché... Well, I did one strip, I'm somewhat happy with it, but I'm aware that I can improve my Illustrator/photoshop/scanning techniques a lot. Hope it will get better, got some good tips from Piro over at megatokyo.com, while chatting with him on IRC... So for now, I keep the comic subject and title a mystery, and then when you least know it... BOOM! you'll know where I'm going with this... I hope...
