Building A New Habitat

Is my loss so great?

Greetings,
My name is Eric and I am a freshman at Marian College. I am sitting here thinking about my loss. To those of you who don't know my web page was deleted somehow on accident. I am rebuilding my page from scratch again, as they say, back to the drawing board. But, is my loss really that great? No, but, when I think about losing "stuff" I have to think about what I lost. I am a Biology major and very interested in nature and environmental issues. I lost a web page that I worked hard on. Only I didn't really lose anything did I? There was nothing to be lost in the first place, just words. I would like for you to ponder what I am trying to say here. Please think about the more important issues that are at hand. Remember when you would drive to work or school and you used to always see those beautiful trees and habitats? Now what do you see, I bet it is an empty lot or someone?s parking lot. I wonder if people really ever think about what happens to the animals that lived there. Do people ever wonder where they will go? I bet the answer is no, to let you in on a secret, most of those animals will die. It is very sad, but we are taking away their homes. I know there is not much that we can do. Not much that one person can do. But maybe if we support local groups and donate a few dollars to Wildlife Funds we can make a difference as a people. Please think about what I am saying here and consider some of the things maybe you could do to "help" the animals.
Thanks,
~Eric~

New Hopes

For now I would like to end my page by telling everyone to consider using the internet and emails more often than regular mail. Think of all the paper, trees, that we would save if we used email rather than "snail" mail. It gets to your friends faster also. :)
Have a great day!
