Simply me, (not much to look at mind you)

I am Phelan D. Cantrell a 22 year old Ecology major, working at Barnes and Noble Bookstore. I live in Huntington Beach, California. I currently attend Orange Coast College (OCC), with hopes to transfer to the University of California Irvine (UCI). I also desire to minor in creative writing, for I am an accomplished poet, and like to write stories and one day novels, but since writing doesn't often pay, I am majoring in Ecology.

In genneral I write poetry, draw, write stories, read a lot, play drums(well only have my sticks left now), collect stuff, and I mess around on my computer. I have fallen deeply in a love I never knew I could have, nor believed existed with my Bonnie lass. I have asked her to marry me and she has accepted, soon she will move from Florida to California to join me. We will most likely be married fall of next year; we have yet to set an absolute date or place yet. I have once again taken up the idea of becoming a fireman, an obsession I've had since childhood (other than communing with nature,) and will prepare myself for the fire academy in the spring of '99, perhaps I will leave college for awhile, and perhaps I will remain as I work as a firefighter.

A photo of my wife to be (mind you this picture does not do justice to the real woman)

My sweet Bonnie J. Groves is a 20 year old mass comunication major,(but may switch to veterinary studies) in Florida. She was born in Norfolk Virgina and lived there most of her life before moving to Florida in her senior year of high school. She just recently started going online on March 1, where a couple of weeks later she met me. She was rather frisky and started chasing me around the South Park Cafe. Well weeks went by and we got closer, and eventually she gave me her number and I finally called her one night by telling her to get off the computer cause I was a callin! So our first phone conversation lasted a little over 10 hours, and later calls averaged about 3. I finally went to see her in Fl on the 10 of May and got to spend only a great 16 hours with her before leaving, but those were the best 16 hours I have ever spent. This wonderful woman who loves animals, nature, and all of the outdoors in general truly took my breath away, and I knew she was the one who I WOULD spend the rest of my life with. The coolest but oddest thing was that I KNEW she was the one not just some speculation made to see how it fits when you've been with someone a long time. I took great comfort in knowing I would be safe and happy in her arms; I knew I had at last truly found home.
