For summer internship in
Civil Engineering
providing a strong contribution
to the practical knowledge in any relevent fields
preferably in Structural
Mechanics.

in the department of Civil Engineering, Indian IT

end of the 5 year program I will be awarded Bachelors degree

civil
engineering and Masters degree in Structural
engineering.

Projects
undertaken:
• Data encryption
program: Coded
a software in Fortran 90 for encrypting
and
decrpting any type of file as part of the
curriculum.
• Pile
Foundation: Did an extensive study on
pile foundations and
prepared
a detailed report under Prof.D.M.Dewaikar of IIT
Bombay.
• Building Simulation:
Under Prof.V.M.Tom of IIT
Bombay , we
virtually
simulated
a 3 story, 300 room building of the college showing
the
reinforcement
details as well as the various phyisical details inside
the
rooms
to a very accurate degree using AutoCAD
2003.
• Sewer construction:
I was
assigned to study the construction of
sewers
for
household purposes in staff quarters in College campus and
suggest
measures
for improvement. I studied the system under the guidance
of
Prof.Kapil
Gupta of IIT Bombay and did a seminar presentation about
the
methods
of construction and betterment suggestions. I was
congratulated
for
the work.

and integral mathematics, and matrices.I have done

junior level in march

Won Silver medal at All India Inter IIT weightlifting
competition

2003.

Recived special award ( Sports Colour) from college for
outsdanding
achievements
in sports for the year
2003-04.

I am currently the Institute Secretary for administering the affairs
related
to
college gymnasium and the sport of
weightlifting.

Worked as an Organiser in Techfest 2003 ( Annual technical fest
of
IIT
Bombay).I was in the team which was in charge of
the
open
hardware
competition.

I am profficient at playing key-board and have won awards at
school
level
for group
music.
About
me:
Hobbies
:
My
favourite passtime is listening to music. I enjoy all kinds of music.
My
favourite
artists are Coldplay, Lucky ali, Travis and
Dido.
I
also enjoy playing computer games , being with freinds
and
weight
training.I am sometimes mesmerized by the amount of
knowledge
available
in nature and life itself. I am constantly trying to learn
newer
and
newer things and like looking at same thing from different
viewpoints.
I
also spend time deliberating on life and the issues surrounding it
and
like
reading books on spirituality and
meditation.
