Music: Color My World by Chicago

Welcome to Introduction to Paint Shop Pro

Here you will learn the basics of Paint Shop Pro Versions 5.0 and 6.0 and how to use them in creating great graphics for your web pages.

In order to participate, you must have Paint Shop Pro 5 or 6 and have Winzip or its equivalent so that you can download the necessary files.

If you do not have Paint Shop Pro Versions 5 or 6, you can download an evaluation copy of Paint Shop Pro 6 at:

And if you don't have a self-extracting zip file, an evaluation copy of Winzip is available at:

You will also need a website and basic knowledge of html.

There may be some changes in the Paint Shop Pro 6 version, but the material in these lessons will work with either versions. The only significant difference should be in the area of deleting tubes from your computer files. If there are any other discrepancies, please notify me and I will find a solution for you.

When doing assignments - please do them at your website and mail me the url. I will check all assignments at your site. Do not send any graphics via email - just send your url and I promise to find your completed assignment. Thanks!
