The Helmboldts' Birding Page

Bruce and Melanie's Birding Page

THE TIME IS:What time is it?

To get ALL our birdwatching details, go to our Geocities home page.

The Helmboldts' latest birding excitement is a King County, Washington, first record Lesser Goldfinch at their feeder, first spotted on June 28th, '97. This bird was written up for the Washington Bird Record Committee, since it was far north of it's normal range.

The Helmboldts' favorite birding site on the web is Dan Victor's Tweeters page, an offshoot of a Pacific Northwest mail list on the internet. Lots of good birding stuff here and LOTS of birding links!!

Our favorite winter visitor, a Black-cappedChickadee (Poecile atricapillus).
That's his call you hear if you have a sound card.

Bruce's favorite birding spot, Whitefish Point Bird Observatory,
on Lake Superior, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Some of Bru's favorite tunes:

The Michigan State University Fight Song - MSU Fight

The theme from - M.A.S.H.
