That is right!! Chat is back in my chat room, and in a BIG WAY!!!

A fan named Scott noticed that there was NO ONE in my chat room, and wants to correct the situation. He plans to have 2 chat sessions a week for North Americans and 1 for overseas folks. Basically, I have given him full control of the chat rooms...so if you guys have any questions/comments, post them here or email Scott at [email protected]. Scott already has fans lined up, so there should be lots of people there to discuss ASOIAF!!

Anyhow, the first chat session will be at Monday November 22...at 8pm EST...Scott and I need times and hours that will be good for the rest of the sessions, feel free to give your opinons!

Okay because of other people's absence(you know who you are!) I will give the Euro chat update. Only 4 managed to get here. Me, Greyjoy, SerBenjen and Nenz. And that was it. Those from the American continent actually equalled our paltry Euro number. But not to worry. We still had a interesting chat about the fate of Casterly Rock and the Eyrie after aSoS.

Anyway must be off. A lot of threatening letters to write;-)

And KAH I have no idea what a firewall is. Sounds hot.

I had trouble with the firewall myself. When you are signing onto the chat (entering nickname and password) there is a field where you can specify the chat method. It defaults to "EZTalk Lite-Fast Download" If you click on the down arrow and select "EZTalk Web-Firewall Users" you should be able to get in.

Kah- to the best of my knowledge a firewall is something like a wall with fire on it. Seriously, I think it refers to systems that have an intranet which allows access to the internet. When a group of systems are linked together (such as main frame systems, bbs's , proprietary systems (FBI,CIA,AOL), they have sets of protocol that they don't want messed with so they use a security clearance program(s) that allows certain users certain levels of access within the system itself. This is the "firewall". When someone not part of the "system" gets into the system i.e. internet users, they are assigned "guest" passes to certain areas of the system. It seems sometimes for whatever reason that computers do, that sometimes these "guest" passes violate the security system's protocol thus refusing access to area desired. Therefore you get booted/denied/arrested/jailed/etc.

This might be wrong so if anyone knows the real story please explain. This is what someone explained to me.
