Hello! Relic, Ser Benjen and have ventured into the unknown by taking on Revanshe's old A Song of Ice and Fire website. I have put a up a partial update. Please blame me for whatever is going on there for the moment as my esteemed collegues are out of town, and the changes are only in the experimental phase. Before they left, they said they did not mind my updating the surveys. Also, I am sure they won't mind the fact that I have added a link to GRRM's new interview, and a link to my review of ASOS. Well, it's just an old fashioned word. Perhaps the (indeed cheap) translaters think old fashioned words give and medieval atmosphere... :-) sad, but true. An editor once told me that someone who translate "real" literature gets three to four times more salary than someone who translates SF or Fantasy... oooh well.

Hey Ran, did you guys complete the Ring Of Ice and Fire logo? If so do you think we can put it up on the site?

The logo is done, but the webring itself is not prepared yet. It turns out to be a bit trickier than we thought. :) Once we finally figure out the problems and fix them, we'll be sending e-mail to as many ASoIaF fan sites as we can think of to invite them to join the webring. :)

Guys, we need some feedback. Last night we made a few changes to the Ice and Fire site, in a sort of Storm of Swords theme, THis is of course still work in progress and if anyone has any art they would like to donate or have any ideas on what else would cool up there please let us know.

We need feedback! here are temp graphics up on the side bar and the top window of the ASOIAF site. If anyone has any ideas on what would look nice in those space, or would like to donate a graphic, hehe, please let us know.

Well, the new design of the site looks nice to me. Especially the new coloring. I liked the red links, too.

Btw, I noticed that you have no links to the prologue of GoT and the first Arya chapter in CoK which can be read at bn.com, for instance.

You are also missing the original Youll cover of AGoT with Catelyn and Brynden, which can be found at www.abebooks.com or the larger swedish version at www.sfbok.se. There is also a newer cover version of GoT at Amazon Uk.

Dirjj, I experianced a few problems with the site too, last night, i think its over now. Keelyn, heh, hopefully soon. Still trying to uhh, get a feel for it. But Ser Benjen is working on a few maps, and we'd love to do a fan art section as well. Bear with us for a few more weeks =)

After about a week of trial and error im proud to say that A Song of Ice and Fire has been added to the Rinf of Ice and Fire run by Ran and Westros.org. This is a glorious day in fansite history =).

On another note, ive been contacted by a few people about helping out with the content of the site, but i havent gotten any fan art emails yet. Where are all the artists?
