• BLUE FICTION MAGAZINE - (no, it's not that kind of magazine) Looks like a new market for stories that "are not within established genres." You can request their guidelines through their site (as well as guidelines to their sister magazine, BLUE MURDER MAGAZINE, which is currently ongoing).
  
  
• CALLIHOO Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers' Group (a small on-line writers's group that includes a newsletter and a really comprehensive list of science fiction and fantasy markets).
  
  
• Dale Cozort's Science Fiction Writing Page (Dale is an aspiring science fiction writer, and his home page has some of his stories as well as a handful of useful links to science fiction market info, some of which are duplicated on this page).
  
  
• CRIMSON E-zine: the free e-zine from the publishers of NIGHT TERRORS (see below).
  
  
• DARK ECHO is an excellent free weekly email newsletter which focuses on the horror field (I'm a subscriber). This is their home page, which includes other really good stuff like links to the last of the official OMNI MAGAZINE interviews, etc. Check it out.
  
  
• DARK ECHO's horror markets links page - over 200 links to horror websites of interest to the horror writer.
  
  
• DARK ECHO's "Raw Markets Index" which is a complete list of markets covered in their weekly free horror email-zine.
  
  
• DARK TALES PUBLICATIONS: a small publisher that focuses on horror, with anthologies, collections, chapbooks, and novels (and some useful links to other websites of interest to horror writers on their main page, plus click on "Guidelines" to get their writers's guidelines emailed to you).
  
  
• DNA Publications - Writer's Guidelines to WEIRD TALES, DREAMS DECADENCE, and ABSOLUTE MAGNITUDE (with links to Writers's Guidelines for ABORIGINAL SCIENCE FICTION).
  
  
• "DRAGONLAUGH webzine features humorous swords-and-sorcery stories and artwork, and is published in April, August and December by Possum Press" - a semi-pro on-line market for silly sword and sorcery.
  
  
• EG&A Publishing Company (Ewan Grantham) - Electronic Books and Publishing (Ewan used to publish RADIUS, an on-line science fiction magazine that no longer exists - this is his book publishing company, which does).
  
  
• Eternity Press Writers Guidelines - this page covers a lot of territory, with links to a small stack of print and on-line magazines and anthologies, all coming out from Eternity Press (I'm not even going to try to list the links for all their upcoming publications and guidelines, but if you go here, you'll find the links and guidelines to the following magazines: THE COLLECTIVE [email magazine], PULP ETERNITY [print zine], XX - The Magazine of Dark Fantasy and Science Fiction [new digest-sized print zine], Eternity - The Online Journal of the Speculative Imagination [self explanatory], info on a short story and poetry contest that they sponsor, plus some other publications including "Getting Published in Eternity", a guideline on how to do just that. Obviously, you'll be checking this one out.
  
  
• EVENT HORIZON - This is where everyone from OMNI ran off to, so you know it's worth checking out.
  
  
• Ezines Market list - list of science fiction, fantasy and horror ezines with a paragraph or two about each market (this is one of the pages located at The Market List - see below).
  
  
• GALAXY MAGAZINE - this is where GALAXY ended up: as an on-line zine. The thing is, I have no idea where they've hidden the actual writers's guidelines on this site (and I'm not talking about the story workshop guidelines, which are completely another thing). If anyone ever finds GALAXY'S actual professional guidelines and rates, do please drop me a line.
  
  
• GILA QUEEN'S GUIDE TO MARKETS - probably the biggest and best regularly updated compilation of science fiction and fantasy markets out there. Comes out regularly (as a print zine that is mailed to you), and you can get a discounted "13 issues for the price of 10" through this site.
  
  
• The ISFDB Magazines Menu - an incredibly comprehensive (probably the MOST comprehensive on the web) listing/database of past issues of science fiction and fantasy magazines, and the stories and authors who have appeared in them. Good research source.
  
  
• INKLINGS: Inkspot's newsletter for writers - a free email zine for writers (and there's a small list of paying on-line markets available through their website)
  
  
• "Links to Writing, Otherwise Bookish and Various Sci-Fi/Fantasy Sites Not Listed Elsewhere" - just like it says (with links to ANALOG and ASIMOV'S to the Science Fiction Writers of America Home Page, all here).
  
  
• MAELSTROM: a print zine, with all the writers's guidelines right here.
  
  
• "Magazine Markets for Science Fiction and Fantasy" - again, just like it says, and it's a pretty comprehensive list too.
  
  
• The Magic Portal - a small but useful list of links for science fiction and fantasy writers (somewhat similar to this page, but not as comprehensive).
  
  
• SFF Net - this is a really good site, not just for writers, but for fans of science fiction, fantasy and horror as well, with links to authors's webpages, HWA (the Horror Writers of America website), SFWA (the Science Fiction Writers of America website) and even a few magazines, plus market info, of course. This one is worth taking some time to look over.
  
  
• "Market Info for Writers" - a list of links to various markets (including on-line and children's markets, plus "jobs for writers", etc.).
  
  
• The Market List - this is one incredible website for the science fiction, fantasy, and horror writer, almost like an on-line issue of WRITER'S DIGEST. Take a look.
  
  
• NIGHT TERRORS - a horror print magazine.
  
  
• And the NIGHT TERRORS guidelines page.
  
  
• OUTSIDE: "Outside is a paying professional magazine of SF and dark imaginative fiction, aimed at people who love to read well-plotted, character-driven genre fiction" (that's straight off this page, which is their submission guidelines page)(they pay three cents per word).
  
  
• Professional Science Fiction and Fantasy Markets - this is a pretty comprehensive listing of ALL the major professional science fiction and fantasy markets ("professional" being defined by SFWA as markets paying three cents a word and up). If you see it on the newstands everywhere, this is where you'll find a link to their guidelines page. There are also links to Semi-Pro, Small Press, E-Zines, and Anthologies and Contests here as well.
  
  
• The Professional Science Fiction and Fantasy Markets (not the same as above) - another incredibly comprehensive listing of professional science fiction and fantasy markets, with a paragraph synopsizing each market's guidelines and listing their payment rates as well. Probably the BEST professional markets listing on this page (and also includes links to semi-pro, ezine and small press markets, as well as a list of known "dead markets" so you don't waste your time).
  
  
• SCAVENGER'S NEWSLETTER - "Scavenger's Newsletter is a monthly print newsletter for SF/Fantasy/Horror/Mystery writers and artists with an interest in the small press. Each issue contains timely market info, lively commentary and small press reviews."
  
  
• SF and fantasy magazines for sale (a good source for back issues for all sorts of magazines, in case you actually wanted to read an issue or two before you actually submitted something).
  
  
• SF Magazine Submission Data - this is just the editorial addresses for most of the professional science fiction and fantasy magazines out there, but that's about it.
  
  
• "SF&F/Horror/Writing/Publishing" - a small but useful list of links, including one to the Science Fiction Roundtable (on Genie)(??!!), Duelling Modems and SFF.NET (see above).
  
  
• "Spectrutek.com - Publishers of Fine Science Fiction & Fantasy Books for All Ages" - a small science fiction and fantasy publishing house.
  
  
• SINISTER ELEMENT - an interesting on-line horror magazine (with a kind of sketchy guidelines page, but I'm not sure exactly what to make of said guidelines).
  
  
• "Speculations is a bimonthly print magazine--not a webzine--for writers who wish to break into or increase their presence within the science fiction, fantasy, horror, or "other" speculative fiction genres. If you've ever thought about selling your fiction, we're here to help" - they're a subscription print zine with up to date market info, and if you go to their website, they've got a free downloadable markets zine that gives you some pretty comprehensive info as well as a taste of what their real issues are like.
  
  
• SPICY GREEN IGUANA - "One site. One Lizard. Hundreds of Mag Links!" - just like it says, with links to a lot of magazines, publishers, etc.
  
  
• SPICY GREEN IGUANA'S publishers's page - links to various science fiction and fantasy book publishers.
  
  
• "Submitting to the Black Hole" - A website that tries to give writers a good idea of response times from science fiction/fantasy/horror magazine and book publishers, as based on the experience of writers who have submitted to them. Useful page, especially if you don't want to bother submitting to a market that might not get back to you for a year or so.
  
  
• TWILIGHT SHOWCASE - another interesting on-line horror magazine.
  
  
• THE URBANITE - another print mgazine, with guidelines also available through their home page.
