CATLIN

Catlin is a former Roman slave, who was saved by Conor. She's been through a lot. Her parents died when she was very young, then the man that took her in, was the one who sold her into slavery. As a slave she had to endure such things as killing animals, and being raped whenever one of the guards wanted a little bit.

She's the only female in the band of warriors, being a skilled archer. Unlike the others, though, she is a Christian. This she kept secret for a long time, afraid, she would be shunned by everyone.

I'll let you in on a little sercret, she's in love with Conor. He doesn't know that, so don't go tell him!

Vera Farmiga plays Catlin on Roar. She is 23 years old, and is a native of New Jersey. She graduated from Syracuse University, and currently lives in New York. She recently became engaged to Roar co-star Sabastian Roche who plays Longinus.

Her other television work includes the Hallmark Hall of Fame Presentation Rose Hill, and she also appeared in the independant film Stalker.

Her list of stage credits is extensive including roles in Taking Sides, Second Hand Smoke, Good, The Tempest, The Glass Menagerie, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Hamlet, and The Seagull.
