001 [1.01-84] Pilot Episode / Tony haelt Einzug

    Tony leaves Brooklyn to start his new job as a housekeeper at Angela
    Bower's in Fairfield, Conn. The deal was made by Mona - Angela's mom -
    and Angela isn't very delighted about the fact that a man now should
    run her household, even less after a little incident during the first
    night.

002 [1.02-84] Briefless Encounter / In meiner Badewanne bin ich Kapitaen

    Mona immatriculates at the local college to study psychology. By
    chance it's her professor who dates Tony. Angela advises Tony to
    include her private room into his cleaning plan and for the first
    time Tony notices that she has her own bathroom with a tub in it.
    Taking a foam bath is sort of a dream of Tony's: so before going on
    that date he prepares to take a bath. Encouraged by Mona and since
    Angela is not expected to return early, he unsuspectingly enters her
    bathroom. But Angela is just finishing her bath there ...

003 [1.03-84] Angela's First Fight / Angela steigt in den Ring

    At school, Sam and Jonathan get into a little fight. Angela is less
    than pleased about this, her solution to these kind of problems is
    simple 'getting space between the parties' and not a fist fight. A
    bothered Sam kind of agrees and puts some space between her and
    'not-my-mom' Angela - which means a trip home to Brooklyn. And
    Jonathan decides to go with her.

004 [1.04-84] Mona Gets Pinned / Die paar Jaehrchen

    For some time now Mona dates Jason, a guy from her studying group.
    Because of the age difference between them, Mona doesn't dare to
    go public because Angela might have something against it. When a
    misunderstandig leads to revelation, Mona is proven right. However,
    the double standard practiced by Jason's parents makes Angela - at
    least partially - change sides.

005 [1.05-84] A Rash Decision / Ein Duschbad fuer ein Cabrio

    Angela agrees to take Tony and Mona along to the shootings for a new
    commercial. There the client - seeing Tony - wants him to star in the
    spot. Later, Tony gets a rash of the advertised shampoo and then, taken
    to task, the client even seems to be aware of these side effects. To
    keep Angela and Tony on his side he offers Angela a new account and
    Tony gets the convertible he has always dreamed of. Mona, however,
    doesn't want to see them selling out and urge them to go the only
    right way ...

006 [1.06-84] Dinner For Two / Menue mit Hindernissen

    With Mona and the kids out camping and Angela expected to go out with
    her date Mitch, the house belongs to Tony and his date. But his plans
    must be changed when Angela announces she and Mitch will dine at home -
    and plans change again when Mitch calls in he can't make it on time. So
    Tony postpones his date to keep Angela company.

007 [1.07-84] Sorority Sister / Finger weg vom Hausmann

    Angela's sorority reunion is approaching. For that, also her old
    friend Trish comes to town and invites herself to stay at Angela's.
    And she also hits on Tony - something Angela doesn't like to see
    since she's well aware of how Trish handles men.

008 [1.08-84] Truth In Dating / Wahrheit kann nicht schaden

    Tony has his eyes on a woman he has met at the supermarket. He
    finally approaches her and introduces himself. In the course of
    this she believes that he owns the house as well as the Jaguar.
    Such a misleading doesn't sit well with Angela, who later uses
    the same tactics nevertheless: she doesn't correct a man's
    impression that she's just a secretary. The gaming finally may
    cost both the partner.

009 [1.09-84] Sports Buddies / Trau' keinem Anwalt

    A new love has entered Angela's life - Jeffrey, a lawyer. His friendly
    and can-do- and know-everything style (he remembers the baseball player
    Micelli, as well as organizes tickets for big games) also draws Tony
    to him. But when Tony witnesses how serious Angela takes the relationship
    and how not-so-serious Jeffrey takes it, he stands right between his
    buddy and Angela.
    [Note: The affair between Diane Wilmington's husband and maid mentioned
     in this episode has consequences in ep.044 Angela's New Best Friend]

010 [1.10-84] Requiem / Das Appartment in Brooklyn

    Mona (and Angela) discover that - before christmas - Tony holds down
    a second job to raise money. The reason for this is to pay the rent
    for his late father's apartment, who died a year ago. Tony doesn't
    want to give up the - filled with memories about his beloved dad -
    apartment.
    [Note: 'This story is lovingly dedicated to Matty Iadanza,
     Tony's father.']

011 [1.11-85] Samantha's Growing Up / Samantha wird erwachsen

    ... and 'suddenly can't catch a football'. The problem is found
    quickly and Tony buys a bra for Sam. Sam is not really happy with
    the model Tony has bought so she goes shopping with Angela. But
    Angela buys a complete new outfit for her. Tony gets quite upset
    because Sam doesn't look like his little girl any more ...

012 [1.12-85] Paint Your Wagon / Angela sieht rot

    Against Angela's intention (she wanted to have sandalwood) Tony lets
    her car be painted red - the diabolo version. And Angela then turns
    wild when she eventually gets to see the car: Mad at Tony, she starts
    talking about the employer-employee line which Tony now has crossed.
    And then adds that he's 'just the maid' - which Tony takes very
    literally. Bad time for Angela and Tony, good time for Angela's
    neighbor Diane: she sees a chance to trade Tony with her housekeeper.

013 [1.13-85] Protecting The President / Die Cocktail-Party

    Grant, who had Angela appointed president of Wallace&McQuade, leaves
    the company. To welcome the new chairman, Angela gives a party, to
    which also her arch-rival, Jim Petersen, arrives. When Jim gets drunk
    and tells some nasty things about Angela Tony throws him without
    further ado out of the house, subsequently ruining Angela's party.

014 [1.14-85] Guess Who's Coming Forever ? / Rate mal, wer einzieht ?

    Mona has a new 'roommate', Grover, and - since animals aren't allowed -
    she is subsequently thrown out of her apartment. Tony suggests that she
    should move into the loft above Angela's garage so she's 'near but not
    under the same roof'. The loft gets renovated for this purpose. Since
    both Angela and Mona have a different notion about how this should be
    done they soon start a fight.

    Angela's husband Michael returns to settle the things with the
    divorcing papers Angela has sent. But they both get closer again
    and want to live together again. Michael fires Tony.

    And after Michael is offered a new job he decides to accept it.

    The show 'Eye on Hartford' does an episode on Angela. For that,
    Angela's house and home-life should be filmed, too. In the evening
    the whole family watches a horror-movie which causes nightmares
    for Sam. When the filming team arrives in the morning they surprise
    Angela and Tony in bed - together.

018 [1.18-85] Double Date / Verabredung hoch zwei

    Bobby has asked out Sam to an upcoming dance. Of course, Tony

    There he starts flirting with Sam's teacher, 'Old Lady' Scranton ...

    will die soon.

020 [1.20-85] Just Like Tony / Tony, das Vorbild

    Jonathan comes home with a stolen hub cap and Tony fears telling
    Angela about this. When she finds out anyway through an officer
    she holds Tony responsible for this incident because he has told
    Jonathan stories (among them stealing a road sign) of his youth. She
    decides that from now on she has the final word on every decision
    concerning Jonathan.

021 [1.21-85] First Kiss / Der gebackene Kuss

    It's Angela's birthday but no one remembers (or knows about it). In
    the evening she goes out with two of her friends and celebrates with
    those. When she comes home she is drunken and also Tony is because
    he has taken part in a police-sponsored project which should show
    how alcohol affects the senses. Angela tells Tony it's her birthday
    and he immediately wants to bake a cake. But because both are drunken
    everything is done easier - kissing, too.
    [Note: Jeff Conaway co-starred with Tony Danza in 'Taxi']

022 [1.22-85] Keeping Up With The Marcis / Samanthas Skiausflug

    Sam absolutely wants to join the ski club but Tony can't afford
    it. Then when he also really messed it up in the household his
    only chance is to sell his baseball with the '62 Mets autographs
    in order to raise the money needed.
