    Sam has gotten her driver's license and now wants a car of her own.
    First she only gets her own keys for the Van but then, at last, after
    some hesitation Tony buys her a car - but what a car !

    Tony has been invited to a frat party and Angela accompanies him.

    Mason should run a seminar at the college, which also Tony attends.
    Because Mason is quite nervous Tony and Angela give him some hints:

    And Mason has choosen this one person: Tony.

    Mrs. Rossini visits Tony. Accompanying her is her young uncle Al.
    Al is attending the nearby Beauty College and Tony should take care
    of him. In the course of this Sam and Al come closer.

    Mona has saved an account for Angela and now designs the new get-up
    for the magazine 'Mature Woman'. Jonathan runs for treasurer in his
    school. For the magazine's cover Mona let herself be photographed
    scantily dressed. When Jonathan schoolfellows see this cover, his
    chances getting elected seem to be gone.

    Again Sam comes home with an expensive T-shirt. This time Tony wants
    to show her that she can have them cheaper and produces some himself.
    Angela and Sam persuade him to sell them at the flea market. Both of
    them lend him a hand, especially Sam hopes she can get rid of her
    debts which she has made with Jonathan. But it happens what had to
    happen: Angela and Tony fight.

    Tony goes to an 'Old Timer'-meeting of the Cards in St. Louis,
    accompanied by Angela. There Tony meets also his old friend Betty.
    But to prevent hitting attempts he introduces Angela as his
    wife. When Tony is 'unfaithful', the 'marital row' follows.
    [Note: This 'marriage' has big consequences, see ep.165]

    Tony and Sam spend a weekend together skiing in Vermont. There Tony
    meets Lisa, his skiing instructor. But Sam isn't happy about her

    Because Angela works far too much and has to hire companions for
    her business meetings, Mona suggests Tony, he should date Angela.
    Tony agrees and he and Angela land up in a comedy-club. When
    Angela finds out that Tony has done this just out of pity, she
    gets upset.

    Angela gets an invitation for the biggest formal event of the year
    with Frank Sinatra as guest of honor. When Angela can't go due to
    another appointment Mona gives herself out as Angela. When Angela
    finally after all manages to come it's getting somehow confusing.
    [Note: The Song 'The Lady is a Tramp' during the closing credits
     is sung by Tony Danza]

    Sam comes home drunk from a party. Tony wants to prove that life
    also works without alcohol, but during a boxing-match he simply
    can't resist drinking. Sam, accidentally watching this, gets upset.

    The Bowers get new neighbors: the Harpers. They are a little
    bit too snooty and a big argument between Tony/Angela and the
    Harpers comes up. But Jonathan and Heather, the Harper's daughter,
    have fallen for each other.

    Tony's former coach Ralph shall build in a new dormer window. Mona,
    of course, makes up to him and after some hesitation he agrees to
    date her. But when Ralph on the next day watches Mona kissing some
    other guy he quits his job and leaves the house with the half-finished
    window.

    At an internship program, where students are assigned different jobs,
    for Sam and Bonnie there are only two left: domestic engineer with Tony
    or advertising with Angela. Sam decides in favor of the housekeeping
    job which she regrets soon. The following day Bonnie and Sam switch
    their jobs but working for Angela isn't any fun, neither.

    account. And of course, Angela's after this account, too.

    Angela married Brian 20 years ago. Since this was just meant as
    a college joke, Brian drove down to Mexico the following day to
    annul this marriage. But now when Brian wanted to marry again
    he is told that his marriage with Angela is still valid.

119 [5.23-89] In Sam We Trust / Gut gemogelt ist halb gewonnen

    Sam tutors Scott in French. Before a test he's that nervous that
    Sam tells him the answers of the questions asked. Tony finds this
    out and punishes Sam. In chemestry it's just the other way round -
    there Scott tutors Sam and also gives her the answers. During the
    test Sam has the notes at her side but doesn't use it. Nevertheless,
    the teacher finds the notes with the answers ...

    Tony gets a new car as birthday present. First his pride forbids
    to accept it but after some encouragement he, however, decides to
    keep the car. But selling his Van brings up memories of the good
    old days.
