His best friends there are the siblings Zana and L.J. Now after three
years Mrs. Payton, the head of the orphanage, has found a family who
wants to adopt Zana - only Zana, without her brother. This is something
David wants to prevent, seperating the kids, as they only have each
other and nothing more. After a weekend together David's decision is
certain: he wants to take the both kids. So the kids move in, his
friend Clarence, who shares the apartment with him, has to move out.

her fairy tales instead of preparing her for the real life like he
has done all the years. Losing the job being like a dad for his
sister and getting a more or less real dad himself, who makes up
certain rules and tells what to do, is a situation not easy to
    accept for L.J.

None of the both seems to be the culprit. Then he asks L.J. and
without further ado he confesses. But when Dave's at the mall with

Dave wants to let Zana's hair done as he really can't cope with it.
Roxanne has promised to do so but on Saturday morning things are pretty
stressy at the hairdresser's. Annoyingly Dave waits for Zana getting
ready (or getting even started). L.J. wants to learn driving but Dave
(of course) instantly declines. Not so Clarence who agrees. He teaches
