The following document is a conversation with Jason Kavanagh and Patsyjo. For those of you who missed out on wednesday or if you just want to read what was said once again. Also in the chat room was myself Frogger with Paul, Jilly and David.

 

In Conversation with Jason Kavanagh

Patsyjo- Hi

Frogger- Is Jason there then
Patsyjo- yes

Patsyjo- Hi Frogger
Frogger- Anyway I thought I would ask Jason a few questions before it gets busy if that's ok
Patsyjo- Ok then ready
Frogger- What are your plans for the future now that you have left brookie?
Patsyjo-Jason- A few but nothing I can talk about at the moment
Jilly - What part of Dublin are you from?
Jilly- Ok so where in Dublin?
Patsyjo-Jason - Are you serious? It is in the South of Ireland
Jilly- No where in Dublin? North South East or West
Patsyjo-Jason I do not want to be more specific then that I have family there
Patsyjo- Jason South
Jilly- Ok
Frogger- Jason have you got any brothers or sisters?
Patsyjo-Jason I have an older brother and foster sister
Frogger- Do you get on well with them?
Patsyjo-Jason Yes we are very close but I do not see as much of them as I would like
Frogger- Do they get fans asking them about yourself Jason?
Patsyjo-Jason- I used to but I think they are losing interest now since I left the show
Jilly- The clothes you wore in Brookie are they your own or is there a Brookie wardrobe?
Patsyjo-Jason They were from the wardrobe, mostly
Paul- Do the Brookie cast know that we make sites about them?
Patsyjo-Jason I don't know the answer to that paul, they knew about the Official site but I never heard any others mentioned.
David- What are you doing now you've left the show Jason?
Patsyjo-Jason Resting which means nothing really but I have plans
Jilly- Did you always want to act?
Patsyjo-Jason It beats working for a living and I enjoy it
Paul Jason, when you filmed that scene on top of the building with Suzanne Collins, Did you get vertigo?
Patsyjo-Jason It was awful Paul, and very cold and wet
Paul- lol well whatever you say it sound like hard work to me :-)
Frogger-Do you think you will go into any other soaps or Tv?
Patsyjo-Jason I hope I am lucky enough to have that opportunity
Jilly- How long did it take to be in makeup for the scenes after the beating?
Patsyjo-Jason Do not know the time exactly but it was quite a while
Frogger- Are you anything like Luke?
Patsyjo-Jason In some ways, How Luke was at the start but definatly not how he went out, I would never run away like that no matter what.
Jilly- So what was the reason for the police alarm in the shadwicks, If Harvey wasen't the one?
Patsyjo-Jason Your guess is as good as mine, we just acted mostly we did not know what was going to happen until we got the scripts.
Frogger - I kind have felt sorry for him
Paul- I wonder how come Harvey vanished after Luke left
Paul- I recall that Joey Musgrove brought his guitar along for at least one scene. Did you all ever have any singalong between filming?
Jilly- Who Harvey or Luke Bring back Luke and send Harvey to jail
Patsyjo-Jason I felt sorry for Luke in the end too, but yes I don tend to put my family first like Luke did and stick by them but I do like to have a good time and enjoy life a bit more than Luke did
Frogger- Did you know that Jason was going to be the rapist?
Patsyjo-Jason Not until the end, when I was told I was being written out
Jilly- You know they had three atractive men, one more so and like busses they all left together
Patsyjo-Jason the cast were all convinced it was going to be R'Ryan
Paul- So were half of us
Jilly- do you think Luke would have stuck by Ryan if that was the case
Patsyjo-Jason Yes I think he would have
Paul- They didn't get on did they Luke called Joey a waste of skin
Patsyjo-Jason Yes but I think that was because of Joey's guilty concience and they were getting on ok until nearly the end
Frogger- Do you still watch Brookside, or read the Brookside newsgroups, visit the websites?
Patsyjo-Jason I read the forum and the soapbox site sometimes, I don't go to the Offical Site, PJ cannot get the NG for some reason.
Patsyjo-Jason I watch Brookie still from time to time but not always
paul- The newsgroup is pretty Naff at the moment anyway
Paul- My Alex Fletcher site isn't bad plug plug haha ha
Jilly- I hated the way they tried to chage all the Musgroves, both Luke and Joey had more then one job at the begining and worked hard.
Jilly- then implied to be workshy
Patsyjo-Jason- Its as little to do with Phil just now, Paul Marquess is running things, Phil is concentrating more on Hollyoaks
Jilly- Running things I'm open to debate
paul- hey he gave us Bernie Nolan he can have a few months grace for that :-)
Jilly- yes but he gave with one hand and took away
Patsyjo-Jason I did watch one epsiode with Bernie Nolan in it, she is a good actress I was surprised
Jilly- I still loved all your scenes with Nikki. You really do act well together.
Patsyjo-Jason Suzanne is great fun to work with
Jilly- what a waste seriously I really expected Luke and Nikki to get together
Patsyjo-Jason I heard about that Jilly, and yes so did I
Frogger- Jason Do you still see any of the cast?
Patsyjo-Jason I see Sam and suazanne quite a bit, most of the others I see from time to time
Frogger- Do you know if any of the other cast use the internet?
Patsyjo-Jason I only know Vince did for sure, Sam sometimes does, I never really talked about it to any of the others except when refering to the Offical Site.
Frogger- Jason Do you like Football
Patsyjo-Jason Yes but mostly I watch on Tv, I don't get to Football matches very often since leaving Uni
Jilly- was it you in London last year to see Man U
Patsyjo-Jason- It could have been Jilly I went to quite a few Man U Games
Jilly- Did you go to a real prison to film the visiting scenes?
Patsyjo-Jason For some of the scenes not all
Paul- No method acting then - You didn't spend a weekend locked up to get in the mood lol
Jilly- was it depressing
Frogger- Did any of the inmates recoginise you from Brookside?
Patsyjo-Jason no chance- it was pretty drab
Paul I think Emily Shadwick will be spending some time there soon enough
Patsyjo-Jason I think so because one asked me to get Emily's autograph
Paul hehe that's charming
Jilly- How much in advance do they screen for Brookie?
Patsyjo-Jason Usually about six weeks but it does vary a lot
Patsyjo-Jason Ok Frogger we will be off in about 5 mins
Jilly- Ok it's lovely talking to you again
