Description: The thrill of the hunt. It's the ultimate drug, and the more intense the rush, the higher the price. International superstar Jean-Claude Van Damme teams up with the world-famous action director John Woo for this electrifying thriller that WGN Radio hails as "Easily one of the year's best films!" Van Damme is the target of an evil mercenary (Lance Heriksen) who recruits homeless combat veterans for the "amusement" of his clients - bored tycoons who will pay half a million to stalk and kill the most challenging prey of them all : Man. Laced with dark humour and slam-packed with eltrifying action Hard Target is a must see for action fans.

Review: Hmm, John Woo's first big Hollywood production and they give him Van Damme. But believe it or not John Woo manages to make Van Damme actually look good in Hard Target, despite the mullet-hair cut. Ofcourse that doesn't mean that his acting abilities have gotten any better, but it's passable. As John Woo fans would know, he likes to use alot of gunfire and explosions, and Hard Target is no exception. It has everything from gunfire, sparks, explosions to JCVD's well-known spinning kicks. But it doesn't take a genius to spot Van-Dammes stunt double, who we also see during the first fight scene get tripped by JCVD and onto the a bonnet of a car. The biggest give away of the stunt double would be the hair, JCVD's hair was sort of slicked and had a "wet" look whilst the stunt double (who also donned the mullet) was "dry and fuzzy". But apart from these little mismatches, the stunts hardly fall short of incredible and shot in way that only John Woo can, that is in slow motion.

Fans of JCVD will love seeing him get the John Woo treatment, while non-fans will really see JCVD in a new light.

EXTRAS: - Menu Selection - Production Notes
- Scene Selection, 16 Chapters - Cast and filmmaker's Notes

Main Menu Chapter Selection Trailer title Cast John Woo

Menu Selection: The menu is basically made up of the front cover with those silly looking icons that Universal keep using.

Chapter Selection: The usual looking chapter selection. No animations or music.

Theatrical Trailer: Presented in 1.85:1. The quality is a bit rough with the colours looking a bit faded and worn. And the voice-over guy used has probably done hundreds of trailers in his time and you will no doubt have heard his voice before.

Cast and Filmmaker's Notes: Your simple short bio's/filmography for Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lance Henriksen, Yancy Butler, Wilford Brimley and John Woo.
