FIRST MEN IN THE MOON

Starring: Edward Judd, Martha Hyer, Lionel Jeffries, Erik Chitty. Directed by Nathan Juran.  Although the color has turned reddish, this classic science fiction film based on the novel by H.G. Wells remains extremely enjoyable.  Fantastic special effects by Ray Harryhausen highlights this tale of man's first trip to the moon in 1899. More Info!

THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD

Color- 105 minutes

Starring: John Phillip Law, Caroline Munro, Tom Baker. Directed by Gordon Hessler. Sinbad must find a mystical land in this wonderful fantasy adventure featuring special effects by Ray Harryhausen.  Highlights include the battle with the six-armed Kali, the flying humonculous, and the duel to the death between a centaur and a griffin.  Color slightly faded but still very good.  More Info!

JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS

Starring: Todd Armstrong, Nancy Kovak, Patrick Troughton, Laurence Naismith, Niall MacGinness, Honor Blackman. Directed by Don Chaffey Considered by many to be one of special effects master Ray Harryhausen's finest films.  It tells the story of Jason and his quest for the Golden Fleece as he attempts to win back his rightful throne.  Beautiful score by Bernard Herrmann. MIGHTY JOE YOUNG

Starring: Robert Armstrong, Terry Moore. An expedition to deepest, darkest Africa leads to the discovery of a huge Ape who seems to be under the control of a pretty young girl.  The girl and the ape are brought to America to be featured in a nightclub act and everything goes awry.  Classic fairy tale elements and a clever reworking of the King Kong theme along with the special effects of Willis O'Brien and Ray Harryhausen make this one a winner.  The sound is a little soft but otherwise and excellent print. NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD

Starring Judith O'Day, Russell Streiner, Duane Jones, Karl Hardman, Marilyn Eastman. Directed by George Romero.  Great horror classic from 1968.  Seven people find refuge in an abandoned farmhouse outside of Pittsburgh PA when the dead rise and seek out human flesh.  In spite of their need to band together, personal prejudices get in the way as the flesh hungry zombies close in around them.  More Info!

Much of the dialogue and song lyrics were taken from actual letters written by our founding fathers. This is a slightly abridged Airline Version. Original running time was 142 minutes. More Info!

A young boy gets to realize his dream of traveling into space when he stows away on an Apollo mission to the moon.  Fun family movie that was origianlly made for television in 1972. Starring Lloyd Bridges, John Carradine, Jeremy Slate, Jim McMullen. Directed by Andrew V. McLaglen.

THE 3 WORLDS OF GULLIVER

Starring: Kerwin Matthews, June Thorburn, Lee Patterson, Basil Sydney.  Well-made adaptation of the Jonathan Swift story with excellent animated sequences by Ray Harryhausen make this a fine family film. Slightly reddish in color but otherwise an excellent print. More Info!
