WOMBLES Public Meetings
Every Wednesday, 7.30pm London
Meetings are organised along open, non-hierarchical lines. We welcome like-minded people interested in developing ideas and objectives for direct, effective action. All meetings are at Sebbon Street unless otherwise stated.
To allow full discussion of the many subjects we are involved with, meetings are divided on a four-weekly basis as follows:
13th March - Tactics & Tips Workshop - discussions of ideas and practical sessions on self-protection, affinity groups etc. An opportunity to make good use of the things that we find!
20th March - London Social Centre Network (LondonSCN) - finding and maintaining reclaimed social spaces; free food, security and legal tips. Email [email protected] for information.
27th March - WOMBLES Campaigns - news and discussions about forthcoming actions.
Sunday 6th April - London Underground meeting. 2pm - 8pm. Venue to be confirmed - call 07960 973 847 for the location. Come along and find out what's happening in the capital and beyond! This is a forum for people involved in direct action and grassroots projects to share ideas and information in an informal setting. Plus a video about the effects of IMF/World Bank policies on Argentina. Vegan food will be available. London Underground meetings are held on the first Sunday of every month.
10th April - Social Evening - a relaxed get-together at a stylish venue. Call 07960 973 847 for the location. This can be an ideal occasion for someone coming for the first time.
In the event of a fifth Wednesday in a month, there will be an extra Social Evening - call 07960 973 847 for the location.
