Gathering and Directing the Energy and Visualizing the Spell Everyone will gather energy a different way. Since I'm more in tune with the Earth side of myself, I gather energy by grounding as a tree. After I gather the energy, I visualize it going through my body and out my fingertips, which are pointed at the spell components. Also I visualize what I want the spell to do. Finishing the Spell I finish each session by releasing the excess energy, imagining it going back into the Earth and thanking Her for borrowing it. Remember nothing is created nor destroyed, it will all eventually go back to her.
