Linda's Stone
I'd like to dedicate this stone to my sister Linda who was there when I needed her most.
This is a typical multiple effigy stone from Southwestern Oregon. The pics on this page are all of the same stone. The column on the left is untouched. Please don't be confused by the images I haven't highlighted. The one with the multiple set of eyes is to give you an idea of why I call these totemstones, and also why people have had such a hard time identifying these in the past. At the right time of dayand at the right angle, each face will come alive to the holder. Like magic.

Bigfoots and Otters
I believe the top image to be a representation of an otter, with another ape below. Again note the shoulder and ear of the ape. If you are having trouble making out the details in the untouched column you might change your display settings to 600x800.

Shaman and Bear
I know the little shaman face is almost impossible to see in this pic, but what I have highlighted really is there. It has just been cut in the stone too fine for the cameras resolution to make out hear. I show it though to show how the other effigies tangle in the hair. The middle one one is a common character usually found sketched on the side of the stone that appears to be a spirit with wind actually trying to blow right through him. Again the details on the bottom one are hard to make out here. But if you look real close you will see that what I have highlighted is really there.
