Source- Connellsville History- Microfiche
    Zacharish Connell founder of Connellsville, Pennsylvania in August 1813. Had a  daughter
Hetty Connell  who married and had a son  John Black.   He was one of the earliest settlers in
this region.

Rev. James Black D.D. Pastor, 1857 at the time of Connellsville Presbyterion Church became
teacher - Died December 23, 1890 at the age of 65.
