Son of ? Anthony - b. 1765-1766 d. before 1850 census, Grandson of William Robert Anthony - b. 20 March 1712 in Ireland. Family history says he came to America by sailboat. He is also buried in Anthony Family Cemetery but his grave is unmarked. Arthur Nix of Red Bay, Alabama remembered being shown his grave as a child, by his Mother, but can no langer point it out. Arthur Nix has a small pitcher said to have been brought to America by William Robert Anthony. Mrs. Osceola Blake of Clay County, Mississippi has a small man's old type coin purse that had been in the possession of her Grandfather, Richard Harold Anthony, that has a scrap of paper in it saying W. R. Anthony was born
