As a teenager, I would go to her house every day after school. We would play checkers and she would usually have some goodies cooked for us to snack on. She never liked loosing those checkers games and would more often than not shake the checker-board if she thought she would loose the game. When I was in Junior-High, I made her a checker-board in shop class. She kept it until she died. Daddy now has this checker-board. When I was older and got my first car, I used to take her to buy groceries and
