*DISCLAIMER: The Island of Maui, along with the islands of Moloka'i, Lana'i and Kaho'olawe in the (fiftieth) State of Hawaii, U.S.A., are all part of Maui County.  We are protected and served by the Maui County Police Department, the Maui County Fire Department, et al.  We have a Mayor of Maui County, the Maui County Council,
not to mention a plethora of additional personnel on Maui County's payroll.  Further, there exists nothing so large as a "city" on Maui.  Our largest "town," Kahului, is populated with roughly 20-30,000 residents.  [Kihei Town, on Maui's south shore, is growing to the extent its population may soon equal or exceed that of Kahului . . . if it hasn't already!]
     With a total population close to 120,000 the Island of Maui also claims to have approximately 37-39,000 individuals "online" - this is the population of . . . THE CITY OF MAUI (.COM)
