The Centre for Development and Peace Studies FORUM is an independent research institution, created to serve the needs of peace research and action.  

The Centre provides a link between the Russian academic community and peace workers. As a research institute the Centre FORUM co-operates with a wide variety of structures ranging from academic institutions and education centers to NGOs, national government bodies, local administration and international organisations.
