| Background | ||||||
| After
our adventures together last year in the United States (her country), we
decided this year we would travel New Zealand (his country).
So with a little time and money we set out to discover what New Zealand has to offer...

| Introduction | ||||||
| With
everything loaded into a small four-wheel drive vehicle, we left from Auckland
on three seperate journeys...
First we travelled about 2 hours east to the Coromandel Peninsula, where we spent 5 days exploring forest and coastline by vehicle and on foot. The second journey was to the far north, a 5 day 700km round trip taking in picturesque beaches and forests despite the rain. The third and final voyage was the big one - a month and over 4,500km on the road experiencing some of the worlds most breath-taking scenery. |
